Association Governance
A successful association starts with a Board that governs effectively using principles
and practices that define expectations and responsibilities.
and practices that define expectations and responsibilities.
The Board is responsible to create policies for the association based on the governing documents. These policies clarify the responsibilities of the Board, its committees, and volunteers, and defines expectations of individual homeowners. Calibre Property Management is an advisor to the Board and also becomes the Board appointed delegate to carry out daily tasks on behalf of the Board. These tasks include inspections, processing violations, and working toward resolution with homeowners, attending regular meetings and writing minutes, and coordinating the association Annual Meeting. The Board can then focus on governance, policy-making, and planning long-term projects.
